KNIT NIGHT and NEEDLE FELTING
Knit Night is open to everyone no matter what kind of maker you are! Join us February 8th, the 2nd Thursday of the month for great drinks, maybe your favorite food truck and of course fiber fun! It starts at 6:30pm!!!!
This month's food truck for Knit Night is Fat City Kid!

Our needle felting class will be on the 22nd at 6:30pm and we are making flowers. Please note this is a Thursday evening this month. Our flowers are designed to be a fun little accessory you can make into a pin or magnet. This is a very simple design so this might be the perfect project for anyone wanting to try needle felting for the first time. Sign up will be available on Luppoleto's website. The food truck that night is also Fat CIty Kid.

Own a piece of Windsor History and Support a Local Cause

Around here Pat is our "local historian" and that is especially true when it comes to yarn shops in Windsor. The pieces of the blanket show above were started by Barbara the owner of Knits 'n Knots which was on Poquonock Ave in the 80's. It recently came into Pat's possesion during a recent visit to see her friend. As someone who appreciates heirlooms, I would like to complete this piece and see it be enjoyed for a long time. Being a part of Windsor's History and being able to bring that full circle is something I want to share. So this blanket will be available for raffle, with the drawing being on March 17th, the final day of our yearly "Stash Swap Sale" and St. Patrick's Day.
Tickets will be availabe for $2 each or 7 for $10 and are cash only!
The "Stash Swap Sale" will be held during regular hours on Saturday March 16th and on March 17th from 10am to 3pm. There will be a special preview on Friday the 15th after hours from 6 to 8pm.The "Stash Swap Sale" is cash only and the proceeds for this and the afghan raffle will go to Connecticut Cat Connection.
If you have something to donate for the sale, please drop it off anytime before the sale.
Thanks for your support! And Good LUCK!!!!
Knit Socks from a Tube Workshop #2
Since there was so much interest in how to turn a sock tube into a pair of socks I will be offering this class again. This class will be held Sunday April 7th from 11am to 3pm.

This will include the already knit sock tube and a ball of contrasting color of your choice. You will need to bring size 1 or 1.5 needles of your choice (some found a long circular was easiest), some sharp scissors, a darning needle and your knitting skills. This is not a beginner class but if you can knit and k2tog with confidence you can do it!
The workshop is $130 and requires registration. The yarn for the class is Laine Du Nord Watercolor Sock and Katia United Socks for the contrast. Sign up deadline is March 30th so I have time to make the tubes. Class is limited to 6 people.
We will continue to be OPEN one Sunday a month. The Sunday we are open in February is the 18th from 11am to 3pm.
Hope to see you then!
