As I write this we are already 4 days into March! I had intended to get this newsletter out much sooner but something happened.... I received a TON of inventory!!!! That's right NEW NEW NEW yarn everywhere! It took me days to put it away! There will be some sneak peeks at the end, but before then there's lots of stuff going on you'll want to know about...

Events at Luppoleto Brewery

KNIT NIGHT and NEEDLE FELTING

Knit Night is open to everyone no matter what kind of maker you are!  Join us on March 13th, the 2nd Thursday of the month for great drinks, maybe your favorite food truck, and of course fiber fun! It starts at 6:30 pm!!!!

This month's food truck for Knit Night is Hog Tied BBQ! This is a newer truck and I have heard it is really good. Come Hungry!

Our Needle felting will be on Sunday, March 16th at 2:30 pm.  Just in time for St. Patrick's Day we are making a leprechaun. This guy will be making us all a little more Irish! Sign up at https://luppoleto.square.site/product/needle-felting-class-with-ewe-you-fiber-arts/348

We are NOW a drop off for Project Linus!

With the closing of all the JoAnn's Stores, I was contacted and asked to be a drop-off location for Project Linus. Project Linus collects blankets all over the country for children ages 0-18 that are in need of comfort for a variety of possible reasons. They accept quilted, knotted, crocheted, and knitted blankets 36 x 36 inches or larger. For full details on them and their mission visit projectlinus.org

The Stash Swap Sale is coming!!!!

It's time for the Annual Stash Swap Sale and we are very excited to sponsor Project Linus!

What is the stash swap sale? Each year we receive donations for many reasons. Mostly yarn, but also some fabric, books, and bags. Sometimes full kits for sweaters, toys, whatever, we collect anything fiber arts related! Everything is bagged with other like things, maybe a whole project's worth of yarn in original packaging, maybe some misc balls for a scrappy project, it's a huge variety of things. Then it gets priced anywhere from $1 to $50 and the occasional $70 bag if it's REALLY good! It's the most fun yarn treasure hunt ever!

Tired of looking at something in your stash you'll never use?

Want super cheap yarn for some charity projects?

The stash swap sale is the answer! The date is not set in stone yet but look for it in early May most likely.

If you have something to donate for the sale, please drop it off anytime.

This is a charity event and all sales from the swap sale will go to Project Linus. More details to come!

Our Next KAL is...Trixture! https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/trixture

This is a cowl worked from the tip up to the top with a triangle texture pattern throughout. Pat has already made a sample using Candyland yarn. We decided that the overall cowl is a bit long and could use a few less repeats. Join our Zoom KAL and find out where these adjustments can be made. We will begin this KAL on March 17th at 7pm.

Join free with yarn purchase or for $10 if using stash yarn. Come in or call to sign up. This is an advanced beginner project.

I was asked recently about doing a CAL as well. I apologize for not having any recently. I have had a few personal projects I was trying to finish and have not been crocheting much lately. Spring is coming though and the perfect time for a new crochet top or something. Let me know if you have any suggestions and maybe we can get something started in April!

We will continue to be OPEN one Sunday a month. The Sunday we are open in March is the 30th from 11am to 4pm.

Hope to see you then!

P.S. Local Yarn Store Day is April 29th!

P.P.S We are planning for the Shop Hop and have put out a survery for anyone who participated in the past. If you have a minute to fill it out if you have not already please do so. https://forms.gle/XZp5eKPz2Tr8VFXc7

Some Peeks at a few new products in the shop.  There is so much more!
