What's Happening at Luppoleto Brewery this Month...
KNIT NIGHT
Knit Night is open to everyone no matter what kind of maker you are! Join us on April 10th, the 2nd Thursday of the month for great drinks, maybe your favorite food truck, and of course fiber fun! It starts at 6:30 pm!!!!
This month's food truck for Knit Night is Fat City Kid. They are always a Knit Night favorite!
There is no Needle Felting this month, but mark your calendar now for May 10th. The project will be announced in next month's newsletter.
The Stash Swap Sale...
Our biggest charity event of the year is coming the first weekend of May!
What is the Stash Swap Sale?
Each year we receive donations for many reasons. Mostly yarn, but also any other fiber-arts related items. As these donations come in we organize them into bags of similar fibers, colors, or even by brand of yarn. Sometimes it's partial balls, others enough yarn for a full sweater or blanket.
Then it's all priced anywhere from $1 to $50 and the occasional $70 bag if it's REALLY good!
You never know what treasure you might find! AND it is all for Charity!
This year we are sponsoring Project Linus. This would be a great opportunity to grab yarn to make a blanket for them and at a great price too! We are now an official drop off location for Project Linus and will take hand made crochet, knit, quilted and fleece tied blankets all year long. They also need monetary donations to cover shipping and other expenses which is what the proceeds of the Stash Swap Sale will go towards.
Swap Sale Hours are:
FRIDAY 5/2 6:30pm to 9pm (These are special after shop hours)
SATURDAY 5/3 10am to 5pm
SUNDAY 5/4 11am to 4pm
This is a CASH ONLY EVENT!
We are also collecting any donations of yarn or other fiber-arts related items through May 1st. Anything dropped off after that will go into next year's sale.
Our Open Sunday for April will be the 27th from 11am to 4pm. Some of the LYS Day promotions may be available that day, but not all. Hope to see you then!
