Hello Fiber Friends!
It's been a minute, somehow my beginning-of-the-month newsletter is coming to you almost halfway through the month. Not sure how that happened, I am gonna blame it on the weather, but here we are, and there is plenty, so read on! There is a ton of information here!
Semi-Annual Clearance Sale Ends
While technically the sale is over and has been cleaned up, there are some yarns still available at discounted prices. I do not know how long these will remain, so check them out while they last. Some of the sale yarn was just too good to say goodbye to yet....

Events at Luppoleto Brewery
Knit Night
This Thursday, February 12th, is Knit Night! Join us anytime after 6:30 for making stuff, a beverage, and conversation. There are options for food, Chinese or pizza, in the plaza or the food truck scheduled, which is Fresh Fire. They offer Colombian/American Fusion.
NEEDLE FELTING
Needle felting was on February 7th, and we made Valentines! Below is a picture of some of the amazing work!
If you have ever wondered about these classes, come check one out. It's a fun opportunity to come in with nothing and go home with a completed project. I offer them in the shop as well, by appointment. Needle felting classes are a great opportunity for a group event, too! The next Needle felting class at Luppoleto is scheduled for March 7th. Knit-a-long is Back!
February 23rd will kick off our new knit-a-long! We will be making the latest Casapinka, The Last Nerve Cardigan. This pattern is written for both Bulky and DK, and when you purchase the pattern, you receive both versions. I will be making the DK and Pat has already been working on her Bulky Sample. It is knitted bottom up, worked flat with the sleeves knit in the round.
The zoom is free if you buy yarn or $10 to participate if using your stash. Call or stop in to sign up.

Circulo Yarn Tasting
Sunday, February 22nd, we will have a yarn tasting featuring Circulo Yarn at 11 am. We have limited space available for this event, so RSVP by calling the shop.
If you have not yet tried Circulo Yarn, this is the event for you! If you already love Circulo Yarn, this is also the event for you! They offer an amazing line of products ranging from soft, luxurious wools to wool-free options galore. Come try some truly unique fibers with us. We are proudly a Circulo Flagship Store, and we offer quite a few of thier curently availble product lines.
It is free to join us for this event. There will be a gift for every participant, and you will be eligible for some great prizes from Circulo!

Youth Craft Night at Ewe & You
Youth Craft Night is the 3rd Thursday of the month and is scheduled for February 19th! This runs from 4 to 7 pm. Open to anyone under 18, come in and enjoy the knit lounge and meet other makers in your age group! Pop in and out at your leisure. Last months meet up was fun and successful, and I can't wait to do it again!
Stash Swap Sale is coming!
March 14th and 15th is the Stash Swap Sale, with the preview sale on March 13th! Hours for the event are Friday, March 13th, 6 pm to 8 pm, Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, 11 to 3 pm.
This year, we are sponsoring a charity called RED, WHITE, and BUNDLED! This program sponsors young enlisted military families having babies. The proceeds from the sale will be donated directly to this program to help families here in Groton, CT. We will also be accepting donations of NEW baby items, either store-bought or handmade. All items can be dropped off at Ewe & You during regular store hours. This includes items for Red, White and Bundled, and Stash Swap Sale Yarn.
We will continue to collect baby items through the Stash Swap Sale Event weekend.
In case you have no idea what the Stash Swap Sale is, here's a quick rundown. Every year, we receive donations of yarn and fiber arts-related items. We collect it, bag it with like or related things. So if you donate a sweater quantity, it goes together, or all purple yarn, it goes together. Then we price it super duper low, bags range from $5 to $40 usually, depending. It is a cash-only event, and all proceeds go to charity. So if that half-done blanket is plaguing your stash, donate it. Tired of that cheap yarn you're never gonna use, donate it. Looking for something to finish that scrapy blanket, come to the sale!
